Today we share with you a film, made in 1972, of a questions and answers with Charles Eames about his approach to the design process. It is quite amazing how relevant, if not more so, his ideas on design are today, thirty years on.

Charles Eames (1907-1978) was an American architect who designed buildings and objects including toys and furniture, in association with his wife, Ray Kaiser.

This excellent short video explores the notions of design: What design is? Where the best design comes from; Accepting constraints and working within these constraints; And about design and collaboration.
